Tainan Tung-Men Holiness Church
The Tainan Tung-Men Holiness Church, masterfully designed by the MAYU Architects duo of Malong Zhang and Yulin Chen, draws inspiration from the emblematic 'eagle' of the church. The building, constructed in fair-faced concrete, is adorned with perforated copper-colored aluminum panels that create the appearance of light and airy feathers. The interlocking design of the feathers produces a soft, translucent, and fluttering visual effect. In this harmonious blend of art and architecture, Shiang Ye Industrial's LINE armchair is seamlessly integrated into the church's interior. Its sleek and modern design perfectly complements the architectural aesthetics of the church, adding a touch of elegance and comfort to the space.
Chengdong District Design Carnival, Taipei
Shiang Ye's Novite Folding Chairs brought a playful palette to the Eastern District Design Carnival, infusing the event with their lively colors and comfort. Their all-plastic construction was perfectly suited for the outdoor festivities, offering worry-free seating solutions that stood up to the elements with ease.

Aesthetics Lab, New Taipei
The "Aesthetic Laboratory" at New Taipei Xintai Junior High School, designed by Abnormal Space Production, adopts the concept of a blank canvas, ingeniously integrating various functionalities to create a more spacious area. The lab features Shiang Ye's Slim Folding Chair, utilizing its high storage efficiency to optimize space usage. The design team transformed the classroom into a pure white space, retaining the texture of the flooring and removing aluminum window frames to enhance light penetration and spatial transparency. At the front, a whiteboard wall allows for expansive teaching, while the back combines a white gradient with mirrors, expanding the sense of space and blending reality with imagination. This design not only provides a canvas for students' creativity but also illustrates the fusion of education and art.
Mutipal Funcional English Center, New Taipei
Located within Xiude Primary School in Sanchong District, the New Taipei City English Teaching Resource Center is dedicated to leading English language education. In the center's two English scenario classrooms, products from Shiang Ye – the Peekaboo Stool and the Slim Folding Chair – have been selectively utilized. These chairs, with their rich colors and functionality, enhance the teaching space, providing a comfortable learning environment and highlighting the significant role of quality furniture in educational settings.
Pixel Lab, New Taipei
The "Pixel Lab" at New Taipei City's Banqiao High School, meticulously designed by 3+2DesignStudio, is an avant-garde media arts lab exploring digital aesthetics and innovation. Drawing inspiration from pixel matrixes, the lab uses a cubic lattice light design and a color scheme of 'Laboratory White' and 'Technological Silver Gray' to present its overall concept. Its modular desks and display cabinets allow for diverse usage, ranging from classes to exhibitions and performances. In this innovative space, Shiang Ye's Slim Folding Chair plays a crucial role. These chairs not only offer comfortable seating but also enhance the lab's versatility and multifunctionality with their foldable and lightweight design. The science lab at New Taipei Xintai Junior High School, designed with student and teacher needs in mind, focuses on simplicity and functionality. A carefully planned color scheme features blue for stability and professionalism, black for functional elements like blackboards and tabletops, and white to create a bright, open learning space. Vibrant student chairs, supplied by Shiang Ye and featuring the award-winning Peekaboo Stool, add dynamism to the lab. This design effectively combines practicality with an environment conducive to learning, highlighting the importance of thoughtful design in educational spaces.

Yingge Station | New Taipei
Through a refined approach of subtraction design, this project skillfully transformed the space, signage system, and ceiling lighting, offering a fresh aesthetic experience. Adhering to the principle of not altering the original structure of the historical site, the redesign showcased the station's character with a renewed concept. By organizing and storing existing objects, the focus was shifted back to the station itself, highlighting its authentic charm and creating a comfortable waiting area. This not only preserved the allure of the historic architecture but also enhanced the space for modern users, blending heritage with contemporary comfort.
Health center redesign
The "Health Center Redesign" project, initiated by the Taiwan Design Research Institute in partnership with the New Taipei City Health Bureau, focused on revamping the Xizhi and Yingge District Health Centers. Shiang Ye's Pleats Beam Chair was selected for these centers, featuring a natural warm white color to ease patient anxiety and tension. The use of movable furniture was a strategic choice to accommodate the high mobility and spatial flexibility required in health centers. This initiative significantly enhances the comfort and functionality of health settings, creating a calming atmosphere and meeting diverse operational needs.
